A relaxed way to approach Season 2
Season 2 of Midnight arrived with the usual wall of terms: keys, vault, crests, tracks, tiers. If your eyes glaze over, this plan is for you. It stretches over four weeks, asks for a few evenings at most, and leaves out everything that is not essential. Think of it as a walk rather than a sprint.
The plan assumes you are at the maximum level of 90 and that you have a character with decent gear. If not, start with delves and the dungeon queue and come back when you are ready.

Week one: get your bearings
Spend the first week learning where things are. Open your map and find the delve entrances. Open the group finder and see which dungeons are listed. Walk through the crafting orders window, even if you do not intend to buy anything.
- Monday: log in after the weekly reset, check what has changed, and read the changes to your class.
- Wednesday: do one delve on your own, at a comfortable difficulty.
- Saturday: queue for one dungeon with strangers and say hello when you enter.
At the end of the week you will have a feel for the rhythm of the season, and you will probably have picked up a handful of crests. Do not spend them yet. Just look at the upgrade screen and see what is possible.
A word on tools: you do not need add-ons or spreadsheets for any of this. The default interface shows your crests, your vault and your gear level well enough. If you want something extra later, fine, but the first month is better spent playing than configuring.
Week two: choose a focus
Now that you have seen a bit of everything, pick one thing to lean into. It might be dungeons because you like group play, delves because you like short sessions, or the raid because you like big fights. There is no wrong answer, and you can change your mind later.

If you pick dungeons, aim for a regular small group. A couple of friends and a few strangers from the group finder is enough. If you pick delves, try raising the difficulty by one step and see how it feels. If you pick the raid, read a short guide to the first boss of Venomous Abyss before you go.
- Tuesday: a short session on your chosen activity.
- Thursday: a second session, with a friend if possible.
- Sunday: check the vault, spend crests on an item you plan to keep.
One more thing for the second week: if a session ends badly, let it. A wipe in a dungeon or a failed delve is not a verdict on you. Close the game, have a drink, and come back with fresh eyes. Most of the people you meet in groups have had the same evening.
Week three: the upgrade pass
This is where the season starts to feel like progress. You have gathered some currency and a few better items, and now you can decide where to put them. A good rule is to improve the slot you notice the most, which is usually your weapon.

Crafting orders belong here too. If there is a slot you cannot fill from drops, post an order and let a crafter handle it. You only need to supply what is asked, and the process is a quiet way to fix a gap in your gear.
If you are curious about the previous raid, the Voidspire is a fair place to visit this week. It still has gear worth wearing, and groups are often happy to take someone who has not been before.
I would also use week three to talk to someone. A guildmate, a friend, even a stranger in a dungeon who seems friendly. Ask what they are working on. You will often pick up a tip about an upgrade path or a dungeon trick that no guide mentions, and it gives the season a human face.
Week four: look back and decide
By now you have a month of Season 2 behind you. Take ten minutes to ask yourself what you enjoyed. Which night did you look forward to? Which activity felt like a chore? The answers should shape what you do in the weeks to come.
Some players, at this point, realise they would like help with a specific chunk of content that does not suit their schedule. That is where options like World of Warcraft Boosting tend to enter the conversation, as one of several ways a person might fit a busy life around the game. Others find they would prefer to keep going at their own pace, and a guild or a few friends is all they need. Either way, the point of the plan is that you now know what you want.
- Monday: reset, check the vault, and choose a plan for the week.
- Friday: a long session or a short one, depending on how you feel.
- Sunday: write down one thing you want to try next month.
The last item on the list is permission. You are allowed to skip a week, play a different character, or leave the plan entirely. It is a scaffold, not a contract.
Words you can safely ignore for now
Plenty of terms in the community are about optimisation: min-maxing, breakpoints, weak auras and so on. They matter to some people, and you may enjoy them eventually, but you can have a perfectly good season without them. If a word is unfamiliar, nod, keep playing, and look it up later.
A few small habits that help

Keep one tab with your class guide open. Say hello when you join a group. Thank the healer and the tank at the end. These tiny habits make the group finder a friendlier place, and they cost nothing.
If you ever feel overwhelmed, step away from the busiest activity and do something you enjoy: fish, explore, or run a delve at a gentle pace. Season 2 will still be there tomorrow.
